The Sea Whispers Oracle

The Sea Whispers Oracle is a 48-card oracle deck drenched in the wisdom of the ocean and splashed with the spirit of the sea. The cards feature marine and nautical life as well as seaside culture.  Encouraging you to dive deep into your intuition, they offer guidance and insight into your present circumstances and future outcomes.

The beautifully designed 48-cards have both upright and reversed meanings.  The messages empower and gently guide you to navigate the ebb and flow of life.

The cards are soothing and lovely. Would you be willing to share your creative process and tools used? A few years ago I made an “inspiration deck.” It was created using collage, then scanned and printed onto card stock. It might be time to make another since I’ve grown, changed and learned so much more about life. Menopause created a monumental shift in my sense of self and place in the Universe. Change is a significant teacher, isn’t it?

The cards are all digital with the border a scanned in and modified watercolour texture.

I’ve been using stock photos as well as my own and then using software to make them less photo-like. When I made my first deck, I used Photoshop exclusively but software has come along way since then and I’m using a combo of Pixlr (it’s free) and Photoshop. Then I’ll use a print on demand printers to get them printed.

I hope you create your deck, Nikki. Would love to see it.

Lyn – That you are so gifted both as an artist and writer never ceases to amaze me. The cards are so exquisite: and, yet, they are so soulful. Their beauty could easily help them find their way to book shops and new age stores across the country. Maybe across the pond. Wouldn’t that be brilliant? Their soulful “pull” would then touch the hearts of milloons! I know they have touched mine with their beauty and the deck isn’t complete!! Your talent is amazing.

Just “stumbled upon” your website and found your cards–GORGEOUS! Will you be selling them wholesale? I offer several writing workshops with ocean themes and would love to carry them in my online shop.
